Q's about the legacys
Hi Guys, I found a 95 legacy sedan around my area and have no idea to what to look for when buying these cars. Car has 145k, and from what the owner said it drips oil on the exhaust manifold(she thinks) and leaks a couple drops when parked. Anybody know if this is an expensive problem to fix? simple do it yourself? places to check for rust.(lots of snow here in the winter)?? I am new to subarus and sorry for all the questions. Thanks
It's probably something simple like the front main seal, which is a common problem. Dealer can fix this pretty easily, along with stuff like replacing the timing belt, etc. Shouldn't be too expensive either, especially if done with other service.
