Well i am completely new to suby's but not cars. I am coming from a euro back ground, and i am trying the suby scene. I was wondering what some good sites are to modify my 05 legacy, its the 2.5i version. i will browse the vendor section and see what i come up with, anyways thanks.

Gruppe-S is great, but they are a little far from you. Pretty much any of the vendors on here are great and welcome to the suby scene.

Talking Cheers!

Think Euro... you'll be fine. 'Rice' for some reason does not stick to Subaru... This is good! Welcome and hang on... The ride is one filled with many choices and you can go as fast as your 'pocket book' allows!!!

since you're on the east coast... go check up legacygt.com and legacygt.org . mostly east coast based owners there on those forums.

i'm a '05 2.5i owner myself.

generally there's only few performance mods that can be done to our engines. CBE, custom intake / high performance air filter, pulleys, suspension. if you're looking into more peformance out of the 2.5i, go pm "fazzster" on legacygt.com. he can provide you w/ a lot of answers.. he modded the most out of his 2.5i wagon. otherwise post in this thread on the forums:

first mod....prolly an intake or exhaust. i had a bonneville (dont ask...lol) then i had a 02 jetta. it was the 2.slow and it just didnt have enough for me and the bad factor that a hole was in in the sunroof drains and the dealer or me couldnt find it. so my back seat was a swimming pool. so in a pinch i got a good deal on a bonneville from family member. so a tranny, upper intake, tranny mounts, 3 ignition coils, tie rods and i was ready to get rid of it. that was all replaced in about 30,000 miles and it only had 40k on it when i got it. so...back to the suby. i am looking foward to it.
