Looking to pickup an 05 Legacy 2.5GT Ltd. Wagon in the Bay Area

Is Carlsen Subaru still the dealer of choice in the Bay Area? If so, which salesperson shoud I talk to? The last time person I dealt with there was Andreas Beckmann when I bought my WRX in 02, which is long gone now. Thanks for your help.

You bought yours from Stephens Creek? I bought mine in Reno, but I've been there twice and have vowed never to go back! I wanted a simple clip for my engine bay that was missing when I got the car (no big deal, I just wanted my baby to be perfect) - the first time I went there they didn't even help me but told me to come back later, and the second time I ordered it, only for it NEVER to arrive. So, now I go to the dealership in Santa Cruz which is SO MUCH BETTER.

Sorry for the rant, I hope they were nice to you, but just curious - how much did you pay (regular or limited... options?)

i went to stevens creek once and vowed to the manager i would tell everyone i could to never give business to them. i've never been treated as rudely in any dealership as i was in stevens creek. i went in there with the intention to buy an LGT but left after being subject to their pushy and pompous behavior. i heard all the horror stories here on i club; but thought i'd give them a chance. turns out all the i club stories were now more believable.
i bought our LGT wagon from downtown subaru in oakland. kay was my salesman. we settled on a price in less than 10 minutes, finished the paperwork and off we went. easiest new car sale i've ever seen or been a part of.
before i did that, i stopped by carlsen and they really didn't seem to interested in me at all. it was a slow rainy day and i'm surprised they didn't try harder. besides, i went to oakland and they saved me hundreds without even trying.
