Legacy Problems Occuring
Here is the stats:
CAR: 1994 Subaru Legacy Wagon GT
Color: Faded Dark Blue w/ Primer spots in the front panels
Condition: Stock and in sad shape
Cost of car: $0.00 - bartered it with a Mass. dealership, selling my Olds. Achieva. My Olds. Achieva had a severely shot transmission, but HE didn't catch that for some reason.
The store I'll be using for parts is NAPA, unless you all suggest a better place.
Now for the problems:
Oil Pan - leaks about a half quart to a quart a day
Oil Pan Gasket - Main problem; completely cracked
Brake Master Cylinder - leaks; broken
Thermostat - stuck; refuses to open overheating the engine
Spark Plugs and Wires - cracked; stripped
Exhaust System - completely shot; leaks; rusted; no catalytic converter
Oxygen Sensor - malfunctioning
Fuel Sensor - malfunctioning
Front axle - broken c.v. joints
Braking system - scarred rotors; no front brake pads; rear brakes lock when wet
Fuel Injector - dead
Tires - bald; weather worn
Belts - cracked; torn; weather worn
Suspension - leaks; broken struts
Radio - malfunctions when the windshield wipers are on; sound fades out
Rear Hatch - broken handle spring; shuts improperly
Driver Tail Light - flooded with water; bulbs blown; corroded shut
Electric Auto Starter - missing keyring device; generic brand is outdated
Rust - surprisingly... none... now anyways, covered with bondo and primer
Also might add, that after about 5 minutes in idle in drive.. check engine light goes on and the car starts to wave RPMs until it stalls.
I don't specialize in Subarus, and am a first time owner of one. So I am coming to you all for mechanical help and technical help with this old car until I can fit my family into a newer Subaru.
I need this 200K mile car to last at least the winter, if not next spring. Can you help me?

Whoa thats really a lot of problems, my best advice would be to replace anything worn out with new parts. Also you might as well pull the radio out and worry about that LAST. If you can, park it in your garage and pull off everything needing replacement, then go out and source the parts you need... I gotta say it but this really seems like it will be a PITA to get running properly again.
