1. Automatic or Manual?
2. Idle speed or redline?
3. How do you think you're changing the volume of air by changing the filter? You're moving the air past the MAF sensor at a faster rate, but the MAF sensor SHOULD adjust the fuel flow volume as it does when you floor it.
If anything, it would lean out the vehicle a little bit, but nothing that will improve performance.
