Yeah I wasn't particularly impressed by that dyno run, because my stock 04 WRX pulled 194 HP and 208 lb-ft of torque. I'm going to dyno my LGT when it's broken in, but I expect it to do better than that. Also, mid-high 14s seems slow as well. This car should be doing low 14s at least.

 

Yah his 60 ft time was bad 2.2 or something like that I would think with the AWD you could get 1.8

 

What AWD vehicle do you know of that gets only a 15% drivetrain loss. Try closer to 25-28% some people even say 30% loss due to AWD. Remember you are not putting power to only one wheel you are putting it to 3.

 

How do drive line losses relate to coasting. My 05GT 5 speed seems to coast really well. As good as any car I have owned. If not better. You would think that if the drive line was that much of a drag the car would not coast as well as it does.

 

Not necessarily, your inertia has a direct bearing on coasting. If you are coasting with the clutch in then the only forces you are overcoming are the wheel bearings and wind resistance. If the clutch is engaged then you have drivetrain to overcome but it would be different amounts of force to overcome depending on where you are in the rev range and what gear you are in.

 

No, I coast with the clutch disingaged, tranny in neutral. There is this long flat strech that comes up to a long always red traffic light. So I coast to it from about a 1/2mile.
