Best place to get car maintenance in North Sacramento

Hi there,

Just relocated from Boston to North of Sacramento. Still have our 2001 Legacy. Wanted to find out from those of you in the area where's the best place to bring my car for maintenance. Or should I just head to a dealership?

Recently, I have a CEL and found out the code is a cylinder 3 misfire. Car is shuddering during quick accelerations. I guess it's time to change the spark plug with 68K miles. Or maybe it's a faulty injector. Hopefully it's just the plug. I thought these spark plugs are supposed to last for a while. Aren't these platinum tipped plugs?

BTW, I think I'll eventually trade in this car for a 07/08 LGT. I have seen only one LGT since I relocated in Dec but lots of STIs. Where are the LGT owners?

Thanks.

LGT owners are on LegacyGT.com.

Look in the regional forum (bottom of the main forums page) . I think Paul at DB Tuned may be able to help you. You could also send a PM to sybir. He has a Legacy, used to work at a shop and is helpful. I just got service from LIC but they are north of SF.

THere is a norcal forum on www.legacygt.com as well.

DBTuned in Roseville. If you go to the SRIC, his ad is at the top of the page. The man's name is Paul. Great guy to work with, active member on the forums.

Yep, I can recommend DBTuned. Paul is doing a motor swap on my Legacy as we speak.
