20" on a subaru legacy. is it possible??

Hi,

My friend is thinking to get 20x8.5 offset 45 (front and rear) on his Subaru Legacy current model (non turbo)

Is it possible?

I've seen 20" on a wrx so I'm guessing 20" on a legacy shouldn't be problem??

What I'm concerned is the width 8.5 and more importantly the offset 45.

Can anyone confirm if they will fit no problem?

What tyres profile should I get?

Thanks
Quick reply please

probably looking at a 225/30/20 tire btw and I'd go with a Pirelli PZero Nero

Those wheels need to be melted down for scrap and the dude that wants them on a Subi needs to have his car reposessed and issued a POS Caddy.

+2 for the "threw up in my mouth" quote
