TOKYO AUTO SALON 2003 with NAPAC

Our own special correspondent, Yohei, A.K.A. "go go go" brings us the pictures from the 2003 TOKYO AUTO SALON. This year is particulary special for this show, since many of the exibitors that haven't participated in this 20+ year old showcase of automotive phenomenon are taking part in it today. With the introduction of the redesigned Impreza, many of the participants brought out their most recent creations, while some opted to display the original New Age Imprezas. Among them BOZZ Speed, SYMS, Zero Sports, STi, Wangan, Prova, JUN and many others. And of course, models and models and models. The event is a 3 day event and Yohei will visit it again, so if you have any specific requests, please ask him here.

You can view all the pics and discuss any particular images in the Gallery. Simply click here to go there: https://www.i-club.com/gallery

Once again, thanks to Yohei for his work. He is guy trying to break that T67 with the STi lateral links.

I would have to say that our cars look better than that zero sports one in the photo Alex. That thing is fugly, from a head on view anyway.

Good to see the WRX in the limelight at the Salon again though, like in 2001!

hey

i totally disagree BADWRX. i am more excited than ever about the new STi. these cars all look totally sick. the bozz front bumper has never been my fav, but those wheels make the car look great.

the bozz car looks sick. i am hoping my car will be white or blue at this point. the whiote looks great with the new makeover.

anyway, these cars look sick. that wagon is especially sick. i wish they would make an sti wagon

also, the Jun car is too much. did you guys notice the suttle fender work to get those tires to fit? just awesome.

great pics alex, keep them coming...

I did not see the link to the gallery.

I like those cars. I like the JUN hyper lemon WRX...because I have that bumper!

I think the new car, with Aero, looks better than our GD's...and that sucks, becuase I have to buy one now!

Yohei, can you grab a closer pic of the "impreza produced by STi"s carbon fibre duct in the front?

Also whatever new HKS products you can get pix of would be appreciated. Thanx man! Have a safe trip.

Scoop!

This is real scoop
I was talking to Subaru people at AutoSalon.
ASTe, the wide and chop car, is not just a show car...Subaru said.
They are testing water if people likes wide body or not.
They are developing WRC replica as a limited version, not sure if it'll be called 22B but it has wide body exactly like the WRC car and ASTe is serving as a prototype of the coming WRC replica.
so maybe that front fender makes it to production.

They said the WRC replica (22B 2003model?) will come out this year if ASTe gets good response this show. I just really hope this project goes through to production

CUSCO has Titanium Suspention!!
That thing was so light. I lifted the casing and it felt as light as Pepsi can.

yup those are gun metal BBS that comes with Legacy S401
There is no official word on those STi parts but I think they'll produce S203 based on that Impreza produced by STi.
Subaru has a reputition of making the Autosalon show cars in production. S201, S202, S401.... all of them were once show car in AutoSalon.

Grandmasterchan..I took close up pics of the CF ducts. It'll be in gallery shortly
