STi RHD Projector Beam Modification
#31
you are switching them with what? the cutoff shield from the jdm hid is different that the jdm/edm non hid light. thats what the retro fit is for. you would completely remove the stock projector and put another one in its place. i have a tsx projector in mine. if you should remove the projector, you should try to upgrade not downgrade

Hi guys I am new around here
I came across this site looking to modify my RHD lights as I live in France.
My Prodrive STI is a non HID version so I opened them up and instead of grinding the deflector plates down I built the low part up using chemical metal then smoothed them off until the shape was slightly higher (to make sure they didn’t kick up at all to the left)
We have to have a test done on the car here called a CT and originally it failed due to the lights and a full decat but with the mod done the lights passed no problem (also had to put a STD downpipe on)
Just thought I would let you guys know that works for the non HID lights the beam pattern is perfect thanks to the original poster for the info
