Finally!! This is awesome! I've been following this series for 8 years by word of mouth in Japan and internet and it is finally here! But one question, why not Sears Point or better yet, Laguna Seca! I'd love to see these cars go through the corkscrew.

edit- haha seems like other people would like this at Laguna Seca too. Maybe they'll switch courses if they come the following year.

Laguna Seca would have been nice but because of it's location and proximity to houses they are only allowed to run so many events a year. They are already book for those big races. I think Infineon would have been a good choice but i guess the crowd would not have been so big.
I any case, i hope it is a huge success and they expand to more races here. I can't wait to get up close with the Cusco STI!

is it an exhibition like d1 was last year or is it actually an actual "round"...i was looking at the jgtc schedule and was trying to figure out approx when they might hold it here....cant wait to find out...
