Hey guys I just tinted the tail lights on my wrx, but I can't decide on a couple things. First should I should I clear coat them so that they are as shinny as the rest of the car or matt the clear coat to get a flatter finish less shine? Second should I paint the spoiler to match the car or leave it black? I’m thinking if I leave the wing black then I should make the taillights shinny like the black wing... or if I paint the wing the match then leave the taillights dull. let me know what you think. thanks

 

i think you should paint the spoiler, and clear coat the taillights...

 

are you going for a red/black scheme?

 

paint the spoiler will look a lot cleaner

 

yaaa paint the wing to match.. other wise it just looks like it was peiced together.... and if you have some cf parts, it tends to match with the blacked out head/tail lights.....

 

I'm not finished yet the wing only has the first coat of paint on it but heres a updated pic with the taillights clearcoated. Thanks for the help guys.
