I had trouble finding this info anywhere, call me whatever, hope this helps someone trying to put 9007 bulb style headlamps into an 2002 wrx the car got wrecked and had some aftermarket hid's in it i think.

passenger side headlight

red wire to the outside connector
blue w/ white stripe to middle connector
yellow w/red stripe to inside connector


drivers headlight

red wire to inside connector
red w/blue stripe to the middle connector
yellow w/ red stripe to the outside connector

by the way if you're doing this and accidentally short to ground a wire, the fuse can pop but the bulb will still work, only very dim, but I dont know this from experience

harness repair

 

FYI the reason for that is there is a fuse for each side, if the fuse for one side blows there will still be some current backfeeding through the filament of the opposite side bulb, which will make the "blown" side light up dimly.
