Will turning on headlights a few times without starting the car drain the battery?

depends on how long you leave your headlights on. my battery died once when I was adjusting my jdm beam a while ago. I had them on for only 10 minutes or so with the engine off. one beam went out then the other beam went out a couple minutes later and i was left stranded!!!

I replaced the battery, and the car can be started now.
If it happens again, then it will probably be the connection.
Thanks for the help!

Stock subie batteries pretty much are junk, I hope for your sake you didn't replace it with another Subaru OEM battery, 'cause it will be dead in a couple years again.

I connected the cable from my cousin's car, and waited for like 5 mins.
And it won't start and still gives me the clicking sound.
Just for future reference, jump starting a car, you start your car while the connectors are still attached to both cars. Once started, leave the car on and drive around which will allow your alternator to recharge your battery.
If that was the only problem, then you may have just wasted your money.

the problem that i had was that, i tried to jump start with another car, and it didn't work.
and i also tried to jump start it with those jump starter device, didn't work.
tried to charge it from AC to battery with battery charger, the device couldn't even detect the battery.
So i was scared that it's something serious, since nothing worked.
But after i took out the battery today, i saw the battery level in the old battery is only like half the height of the battery.
So i am quite sure that i didn't waste my money, my battery is dead.

If it's that low, you usually can just fill it with distilled water, and you'd be good to go.

I went to an Optima, which is still operating just fine 140,000 miles and 3 years later thank you- but just about any car battery should outlast the OEM one.
remember, the car battery does one thing only. to start your car.
once the engine is running, all the power needed is drawn from the alternator. once the load becomes greater than the output of the alternator (think big stereo system or using a winch that draws 100-200 amps), the battery then starts to supplement. so even when the engine is running, the battery will start to discharge.
that's why OEM batts tend to suck.
(okay, the battery also filters the "dirty" power coming from the alternator, but i was talking about pre-computer cars.)
