I have already tried a "search", but couldnt find too much info.
Where should I put the EGT sensor? Should it go where the OEM EGT sensor goes? Or do I need to tap into the Header? If I need to tap, where does that go?
Links? Pics?
Thanks in advance

The most logical place, most people believe, is in the manifold on the driver's side. There is a casting button about 4-5 inches from the block that is a great place to tap. (That's where I put mine) Some people will say in the upipe but that is too far from the source and will not get as accurate of a reading. I don't know of anyone who has a fuel pressure gauge although I'm sure there are some. Most people install Boost, EGT, and either oil pressure or temp.

Thanks for the reply.
I know where you are saying to put it...I remember seeing that. But I actually dont have a stock header. Aftermarket. I will put it in the same area. Also, I was asking about the Fuel Gauge because it is in the package I got from my friend....Just wanted to see why that was important.
thanks again

Ah, an aftermarket manifold. Are you going to weld a bung onto it so you can thread the sensor it that? Since aftermarket manifolds are much thinner than the stock castings you'll probably want to do that.

From what I have read, the leanest side of engine is the passenger side. And, lo and behold, the leanest cylinder is appearantly the same one where the stock front O2 sensor is.... gee maybe Subaru knew?
Now I thought it would be too much obstruction to have both sensors in one plenum, so I put it in the other passenger side plenum. So 1 and 3 now have sensors. Its been working great. No, I don't have a casting button, and it hasn't mattered. Drill well. Tap well. Etc and its all fine. I've been running at least 10k miles so far w/ no problems. The readings seem similar to what other people have done using either plenum on the passenger side. Also, its not even so much what the absolute readings are, but you can often find how your doing by know what normal operating temps are and learning from there.

Mine is about 4in down my header from cyl 3 i think it was...
and FP gauge is most usefull when your running an after market fuel pump and driving it a bit hard (increasing the fp a bit).
Allways nice to know when your fp is going to take a crap on you.
