2005 STi "overfender" only the STi's of 2005 (maybe 06) have it. Should be able to buy it from Subaru...?

What year is your car? IF it is a 2005 STi....it should have it. If not I'd be worried that you actually have a 2004 and maybe paid for a 2005....

It's just cosmetic.

I've been told it was put there on the 05 for the extra clearance they needed when they changed from the 04 STi wheel of 17x7.5 to the 05 STi 17x8 wheel. Don't know if this is true but it makes sense.
