It is a PIA to use. Don't buy the spray, it is the same as all the other quick detail sprays.

I like Zaino, I have a kit in the cupboard, but I don't know. It is a huge hassle!

Meguires is pretty good, but zaino is better.

Just don't but the Zaino clay bar, or spray detailer hype. It is crap!

I have always used turtal wax. I have tried Meguiars and other brands but didnt think it compared. IMO, it is the best wax you can buy. But sadly, it is hard to get in some areas as it is mostly sold to busniess that wash cars and such.

Around 90 bucks if you buy all the crap that they recomend, but just get the 3 waxes and maybe 50? The applicators are very nice.

It is a PIA to use.
Be sure you follow the process! The first time, wash the car with Dawn Dish Soap (which will strip all previous wax off the car) and then clay the car. Yes, it IS important and not just a bunch of directions to keep you occupied for a while

Once you do that, the Zaino goes on MUCH easier. I can do a coat on my Impala (i.e. bigger car than my WRX) in about 20 minutes by hand. That includes application AND removal, BTW.

Don't buy the spray, it is the same as all the other quick detail sprays.
Wow, this is so wrong it isn't even funny

Try the Z6 back to back with another "detail spray". The Z6 works better. It is formulated as part of the chemical "process" with the Zaino Z2 (polish) and Z7 (car wash soap).

I like Zaino, I have a kit in the cupboard, but I don't know. It is a huge hassle!
I agree it takes some work the first time, but once you do then maintenance is a lot easier. Just a coat of Z2 once in a while, plus an application of Z6 afterwards.

I literally haven't done the whole process on my Impala in almost a YEAR! And while it needs to be re-done, the water beads on the Impala far better right now than it does on the WRX (which got a claybar treatment followed by Meguiar's Gold Class that I had left). The WRX was treated only 45 DAYS ago!

Meguires is pretty good, but zaino is better.
No contest

Just don't but the Zaino clay bar, or spray detailer hype. It is crap!
If you're skipping the clay bar, I think I see why you think the Zaino is so hard. It really does matter. Can't shortcut the process on this one....

BTW, the Zaino claybar is the best one I've used, but the Clay Magic and Mother's claybars are ALMOST as good. Biggest upside to the Zaino clay is you get about 2x as much clay for the same $$$. Note that the Meguiar's clay IS crap, and if that is your only claybar experience I can see why you feel that clay is "hype" or "crap".

i bought some stuff called , well, i for got, but i picked it up at this place called P&S Sales in San Francisco. They sell wholesale to body shops and other places that use a lot of it. They sell to the public too. a bottle costs around 9 bucks and is better than anything u can get at kragen.

Zaino Brothers rule. The whole process takes about 3-5 hours. Can't beat the finish or the feel. I do this three times a year. Make sure you use the clay bar, the surface of your car will be smoother than they day it rolled out of the dealership... guaranteed.

ive never used zaino but ive heard its really good. ive stuck with meguiars the entire time, and it always left the car darker than before, and its smooth as glass, especially after a clay bar treatment.

Miguel,
The nice thing about Zaino is if you get it on any black trim (matte finish or rubber trim) other than the paint it comes off easy without leaving a hazed finish. If you ever used the meg. gold you know what I'm talking about. PIA to remove off rubber trim.
Zymol is not bad either but you need to remember not to let it set up too long. Sort of the opposite rule for most waxes.

Zaino is from what I have heard on detail message boards the best but brutally hard to use,
I'll GUARANTEE these folks are trying to shortcut on the process. If you follow the directions, it is no harder (and hell, often easier!) to use compared to other waxes.

If you clay the car first (i.e. that whole "follow the directions" thing ), it goes on and comes off VERY easy.
