I've been using Zaino for a while now... nothing I've ever used comes close in terms of durability and optical clarity.

Oh yeah I have also waxed the car about every five or six months. I waxed mine in December and the rain water still beads up and will probably whip out the Meguiars next month!

Absolutely. I used to use the Meguiar's Gold Class.....until I tried the Zaino. The Zaino not only blows away the Meguiar's (or Zymol, or Mother's, or .....) in shine, but lasts a LOT longer (as in, MONTHS!).

Reminds me : I need to go ahead and Zaino the WRX....it's past time already to do it!

Consumer Reports in general doesn't know their head from their.....(other body parts ) on anything automotive, so take anything they say with one HUGE grain of salt
