I've got a set of JDM Black Chrome HID headlights and want to replace the wedge bulbs that come with them from the facotry so that the color of those bulbs will match with the color temp of my HID lights (4300K).

I have seen so many different types of wedge bulbs and have decided to go with a PIAA brand (unless there is another brand recommended).

So far I've been able to find the following:


Twin Pack 19168
Bulb Type 168 Wedge
Wattage 5w
Technology Super White


Twin Pack 19169
Bulb Type 168 Wedge
Wattage 5w
Technology Platinum Super White


Twin Pack 19170
Bulb Type 168 Wedge
Wattage 5w
Technology Super Plasma


Twin Pack 19172
Bulb Type 168 Wedge
Wattage 5w
Technology Xtreme White

All of these bulbs should be good replacements for them if they are WHITE

Since my HID headlights are a pure white color I'd like to get something very close to it as possible. All of these bulbs state that they are white but what is the difference between them?

Also for the "SUPER PLASMA" what color is it? Anyone know?

If this isn't a good brand to use please recommend a better brand. What about RAYBRIG?

Which one should I use?

on the main web site there is a sample color look of the wedge bubls. that might help, but they are not exact display.
