Thumbs up WANT HID! Where can I get it? Please Help!

I want HID for my 04 WRX and have been reading the countless threads on iclub, nasioc, as well as other forums about what's best. I'm not very savvy with tinkering on my rex and was wondering where i could just get the sti hids ordered from? Also, is there anything else I would need to get in order to make this work (ie. ballasts)?

I've also read that just slapping a HID kit on a stock housing is not recommended. What other options do I have other than going with the STI HID? Are their places in the Bay Area that do kits/conversions?

If anyone has done HID conversions to their WRX and would be willing to meet up and help me out that'd be cool too! Any help would be awesome!

I would buy the STi headlight if have the $$$ but 1k is too much for lights.... You can still use aftermarket HID on our headlight, you just need to aim them down or you will get high beam where ever you go.

Best HID kit is CATZ (like mine) i would have to say but you can't get them no more. other than this you can try hidplace.com. If you want to get projector with HID, you can send your headlight to hidtech.com and have them retro fit one for you. I have a quote from them and it's about 800bucks to do this. Like i said up top its alot of $$$$. i rather spend that extra money on other mods instead

yeah sti housing would be better
but if you can not afford it.. or don't want to spend the money
just make sure you buy the correct bulb for reflector style housing..
and install it correctly and you should be ok.
