I've been wanting to sound deaden my car since I got it. Now I'm not doing it for better SQ of my stereo, buut rather to make it quieter inside. I know theres a lot of company's out there like dynamat and raammat which have some pretty nice stuff, but they are soooooo expensive. Does anyone have any experience with Fatmat? www.fatmat.com Its about 100 bucks for 100 sqft, which is about 1/10th as much as dynamat. Cost is a big factor for me, but I'd also like to get the car a lot quieter, and don't want to add a ton of weight doing it. I've also read that some people use insulite, and was thinking about using this to line the floor since I'm sure a lot of road noise comes in here. Any opinions or advice, or other products I should look at?

Also, although not currently relevant, i'm wondering where to put it for the most effect on sound. I was thinking the doors and floors?

If it makes any difference I have a 99OBS. I hate the road noise a lot, and want to get rid of it.
