I filled my wholes with white epoxy. Been like that for 50k miles or so.

I've gotten two tickets for speeding, but they didn't say anything about missing the front plate.

For the record, you need 3/8" plugs with a rounded top; beveled edge plugs also look nice. They are often found in the electrical department of a hardware store (used to plug the 3/8" pipe used for electrical ducting, for example).

I had some leftover PSM paint and clearcoat from paintscratch.com and painted them both. I'll try and post a pic later today.
