trunk springs & cf trunk

does anyone kno wat to do with the stock springs so a cf trunk just doesn't fly up? I'm having issues with my cf trunk sitting flush, and i think its becuase the stock trunk springs are to strong. Does anyone have any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

i would think the the reason you cant get the truck to line up straight is because of the springs. they were made to lift and hold a heavier trunk. i would also becareful when closing your trunk with the springs attached that you dont crack it. i had this problem on my durango with a carbonfiber hood. it didnt crack but it wouldnt line up properly.
