Boost Gauges

Ok, finally someone put a downpayment on my rsx-s, and now i can really get serous on buyin an STi. So, one thing i do want to have is a boost gauge. My question is, Is the boost gauge that you can get through Subaru worth it? What brand would you suggest? Got any pics of where you have gauges installed? thanks in advance..

Don't buy the factory gauge, if you haven't already done so. It reads in metric megaPascals (or something like that). Defi is popular and has different styles to choose from. You might search the Vendor For Sale forum to see example pics. Even Autometer boost gauges read in pounds of boost and inches of vacuum, which is the way that most U.S. publications talk about turbo engines.

i did a little bit of research, and i like the Cobalt Boost gauge from Autometer. This one is Boost only. should i get boost/vacume?
Does this gauge have two pieces sticking out the back?

also, when it is illuminated (blue) is this very bright? cause i've driven next to some cars with gauges on their dash and it lights up their whole interior.. (not what im lookin for )
