anyone done a trunk swap...how did you swap the locks? thanks.

 

you just need a needle nose plier, and your old lock...me and my friend done mine.

 

1st: remove the emergency escape latch, under it is the lock. on the lock there is a linkage that is connected to the lock with a orange clip. simply pop off the clip and pull linkage off from lock.

2nd: there is a black C clip that holds the lock in place. slide it out. maybe tight but dont break it cause you need to reuse it. pull lock out and replace it in new trunk same way it came out.

 

the black c clip is only 98 cents at any subaru dealership but you gotta wait for it to come in
