Which Trailer Hitch: MY 02 WRX Wagon
My wagon is pretty much stock right now.
If I get the OEM hitch, it looks like it gives enough clearance for an aftermarket exhaust. The installation also looks really easy. But it costs $150+.
There's the drawtite hitch and it only costs $90. But it requires removing an exhaust bracket and it seems to sit really close to the pipes.
Are there any more hitches out there besides those two for the wagon? Has anybody seen a good deal <$150 for the OEM hitch?
Thanks!

The "OEM" hitch will require you to cut your bumper, and I think it (maybe) will also relocate one exhaust hanger. There is no cutting required with the aftermarket hitch.
I purchased the draw-tite version from etrailer.com for less than 100 bucks. The only PITA is that you have to wire in a modulite kit, which you can also find there. I have a 10% discount code for etrailer.com if you want to order something...pm me with your email address if you want it.

Thanks for the info.
I ended up getting the OEM one only because after I tallied the cost of the trailer wiring, ball, and square receiver, it came out pretty close. OEM was still a few dollars more.
I didn't realize that there was cutting involved when I bought the OEM, but too late now.

Yeah, its pretty simple, just required a few ratchet sizes... like 10,12, and 14 i think. There was no drilling or welding or anything like that involved. It took me about an hour to do by myself, but would be much quicker if you had a helper for a few minutes...
just posted on here and on nasioc that i was looking to get $100 for it plus whatever shipping. I paid 155. it has the hitch, drop bar, and 2"ball and is in real good condition as i only used it for a few days.
