Stock WRX Projector vs TSX-R

So im doing the lense swap ATM and thought i would post exactly what the difference is between the stock WRX projector, and the TSX-R.

Both are "clear" however you can see the dramatic difference on the smoothness.

Finished pics to follow.

Nice man! I'm looking forward to the progress and steps involved, I've been contemplating doing a retrofit myself

So, i havent gotten the spacers yet to focus the new lenses but here's some comparisons.

Stock WRX Halogen Bulbs...and dirty *** covers.

WRX Assembled Headlights with LED Bulbs - NO Squirrel Finder Mod

WRX Projector Housing ONLY - WITH Squirrel Finder Mod and LED Bulb

WRX Projector Housing ONLY - TSX-R Lense UNFOCUSED WITH Squirrel Finder Mod and LED Bulb

Stacked Stock Assembled Headlights with LED vs External UNFOCUSED TSX-R

More light clearly gets through the new lenses...More to come when i get the spacers.

since no ones answered this man's question, ill take a stab at it.
The top lens (the stock wrx) is what they call a fresnel lens. The rings around the lens is a clear indicator of that and its purpose is to disperse the light before it exits the lens.
The second lens is a true clear lens. There is no dispersion of the light.

The lens is only 1 part of the equation. The housing is also another important factor to consider. the bowl's design is crucial in how much of the light is directed at the lens.
