I would like to swap a wrx wing for a sti wing. Would the mounting holes line up with the stock wrx wing?

you see i have a 03 black wrx. And a local wants to trade me his sti trunk lid. Instead of having to pay for 2 completely new paint jobs on truck lids i would just like to paint my wing silver, and paint his black. If the holes do line up, would i have to swap out any torshen springs? and stuff of that nature... thanks

 

The STi has about about 10 mounting points as opposed to the WRX's 4 mounting points. You'd be better off trading trunks completely with someone with the same color car. And don't forget the springs and locking mechanism too.
