sti wing on a wrx

I have an 06 wrx. and i called subaru about ordering the sti wing for it, but im wondering how putting it on is? is it easy? and do all the bolts match up? if anybdoy has done it let me know. thanks

no, it will not match up with the 4 holes on your trunk. The wrx wing only uses 4 bolts, but the sti wing uses something like 14 bolts, and I doubt you want to make all those holes your self. Just trade trunks (including the wing) with a sti, usually for $250-$300.

you can do it for a lot less than 250-300. You also have to swap lock cylinders and tension bars. All in all its pretty easy

most people will do a straight across trade. but when you're swaitching out trunk springs, the sti one's can be tough since their more stiff than wrx springs.
