Sick of black car....

Ever since I bought my WRX, I've been taking really good care of it. Kept it garage most of the time and wash it every two weeks. My car is black so there is no way to avoid swirl marks. But I think ever since I switch to this new drying towel, my car been getting more swirl marks. Should I take it to a detailing shop soon to have them wax it or do something to get the swirl marks off? Or what kind of product should I use? I hate taking care of a black car....

DO NOT BUY THIS TOWEL!

Apply a polish after washing and before waxing. It will help hide some of the swirls. To make sure you don't add any more swirls, make sure to use a wool mit, and rinse it often (between each panel). Use a microfiber towel to dry and remove wax.

I disagree on the last part. I've found that Microfibre towels don't remove polish and wax very well. A clean 100% cotton towel is what I prefer to use. I find it picks up dried polish and wax much better than a microfibre towel does.

just to start off from a fresh start i would take it to a detailer to have them make your car look really good and then take it from there. every once in a while i will spend all afternoon taking care of the paint. i usually start w/ the clay bar to get rid of the fallout and other little things that get stuck in the paint. i dont believe that this gets rid of the swirls but it makes the paint alot smoother. then i move on to a cleaner, then a polish and finally a wax. i use 100% terry cloth towels instead of the micro fibers to apply and take off the products.
to dry the car instead of the micro fiber towels you might want to try a chamois (spelling?). real leather chamois may be expeisive but you can find synthetic ones for alot less. they work great and dont leave your paint messed up. good luck.

Yes I clayed it with mequiars about two months ago and also Klaase it as well.

Thanks for all the advices. I just ordered these from Autopia Car Care. I don't know if I would need this buffing machine as well. Sort of pricey.....

These products are one of th best on the market. What do you fellas think?
