Seibon Carbon Hoods and Trunk

Hi all,
Thinking of getting these two items and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with them.

How is cutomer service?

How is workmanship?

How is the fit?

Any issues?

That type of stuff...

Here are some photos:

Thanks!

i got a Seibon CF hood with STi scoop...i got it from an i-club vendor...Fit: was perfect, was not warped at all, holes in right places, etc.....workmanship: was ok, but under a good eye you can see minor flaws in the weaves, but no scratches, no over spray (clearcoat).

i like it b/c it used the stock latch and stock wiper sprayers. scoop can also be removed.

hope this helps

i have been debating getting seibon cf hood, but do you know if you are able to use the jdm sti scoop (large opening '02-03 style scoop) on it and does seibon sell the jdm sti scoop?

Hows the workmanship of Seibon? Is there a better vendor for carbon fiber products?

Why do you want, a hood? Did you get a front mount intercooler and upgraded turbo?

IMHO the Seibon CF hood is better than say the VIS one (these are the two most popular).

The Seibon comes with a clear coat while the VIS only has a UV coating and no clear coat.

Seibon seems to fit well. Basically, it holds up better than the VIS because it has an actual clear coat on it.
