save up for better ones, those cheap ebay APC seats stink... go to local shops and sit in some of the seats they have, some of those seats hug you like a fat girl and other feel like your sitting on a plank of wood.

Vince, don't waste your money on cheap-o seats. They'll probably be even worse than your stockers. If you want advice on aftermarket seat installation in the GC8, try PM'ing Alan (doorknob). He has Momo seats and lives in Daly City.

The GC8 is the chassis code for the older model Impreza; however, I just noticed that you said your 2.5RS is a 2002 model, so it's not a GC8 (sorry for the confusion). Newer Imprezas like the WRX are known as the GDA, and the STi version's chassis code is the GDB. It's a handy sort of short-hand for us.

PM'ing is Personal Messaging, a service available on this forum. A good way to talk to someone one-on-one.

Alan's not selling his seats, however he does have experience in installing them. However, he has an older model GC8 Impreza so it might be a bit different. I initially thought you had an older model like he has haha. So in this case, it may be best to run a search here in this forum on seat installation in general.

BTW, if you're looking for seats that are less expensive than Recaro or Sparco, but are still quality, consider Corbeau. They're an American company but still make pretty nice seats for less than the top-dollar companies. Avoid companies like Tenzo R, Matrix Motorsports, APC, etc. AT ALL COSTS!!!! Their seats are not only unsupportive and of poor build quality, but they may be downright dangerous in an accident due to their lack of precision engineering and shoddy materials.

No prob
BTW, Cobra seats aren't bad either from what I've heard, but I don't have much knowledge/experience with them.
Gotelli's Speed Shop on El Camino in South SF has both brands IIRC, so you can check them out in person, maybe sit in some floor models.
