replica
i've recently hit my front bumper, and now considering getting an after market one. i'm intersted in the front bumper made by Jun, but it's a bit over budget. now i've seen some "replica bumpers" that looks like the Jun ones, but it's half the price. http://www.gruppe-s.com/Subaru/subext.htm
if anyone knows or have used these "replica" stuff, is the quality good? is there any difference between the "replica" ones and the genetic ones?
and also, what would be a fiar price to pay to paint a bumper? and is it hard to DIY put it on?

Banpreso,
I would say be careful of replica Stuff. I have replica STI headlights and front and rear strut tower bars and none of them bolted right in. The front strut bar required me to move a hose or two due to it being to low, the headlights were wired wrong and the rear strut bar required some serious arms strength to connect or maybe I just weak
in either case just email them before you buy and ask them if it is a direct replacement or is there modification required. To get it painted depends on the paint. Flat colors are cheaper than pearl paint. Here in NJ to get a bumper painted Midnight black pearl (my car color) it would cost me around $200. Don’t go cheap on the painting, you don’t want it to crack and flake the first year you have it.
Hope this helps, Drew
