Here's a write up on the stuff: http://autopia.org/forum/showthread.php?t=32078

2 gallons of water and a couple towels to wash the car? Doesn't seem too bad. What do you guys think?

I think I would perfer the Mr Clean setup. I think, like how the original poster in that thread said, this is a good solution if you are worried about how much water you are using on your car.

I'd use it if I was limited to it. Living in snow country like he does is a good reason. Might be a good reason to insulate the garage and pump in some A/C.

I use another protect-all product on my bike. just spray it on and wipe off. Cleans, polishes and waxes all at once.

I used the Mr. Clean setup once. I didn't like it for the actualy washing of my car, but the auto dry system actually worked

I guess this is a viable winter solution to not running a hose? Otherwise I would just wash my car like regular. If you wax your car at least once a month your car will be much easier to clean. The water will also tend to sheet off because of the residual wax on your car. I'm not telling you guys anything you don't already know.

Don’t give me that waxing takes soo long garbage. I can wax my car in like 45 minutes or less with the NXT crap. It goes on smooth dries quick and releases off the car great.

I'm pretty **** about how well products work on my car. I tired Zaino, Klasse, etc. For the money NXT works as well for what I will call here: phase 1 waxing(after wash one coat waxing, no clay bar, carwash soap did not remove much wax) 2 would be like washing to get everything off with a mild dishsoap. 3 would be like double washing, clay bar, third wash, and then starting the waxing layers.

NXT also costs much less for initial buy in and up keep.

I'm also in testing sessions with this WATERLESS washing system:
