I was sondering how well do CF hoods stand up to rocks and things like that because my hood is pretty chipped from rocks going up and down the highway and i have always wanted a CF hood but would it chip or be damaged alot or what

 

well our hoods are made of aluminum.. the slightest hit will leave a dent and im sure you know about the weekness of the subaru paint.. Carbon fiber on the other hand is superior to aluminum in strength. and as for chips, the only thing that can be chipped would be the resin, and that can be easily patched up and buffed so it looks like new, as a stock hood, if you wanted to repair you would most likely have to paint the whole hood over again.. And carbon fiber looks really COOL!!
