Question about possible water leaking through the hood scoop into the engine bay?

Question about possible water leaking through the hood scoop into the engine bay?
HEY! I have a pretty complicated question.
I drive a 2003 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS (bugeyed). Stock it does not come with a hood scoop. I want to get a scoop or a new hood with a scoop. What I would like to do after that is set up a ram air or just a small box in the enine bay under the scoop, and then stick a filter on there so it gets direct cold air from outside the car using the scoop. I can design and build this no problem but I just have a question about water getting in there an leaking? Do you guys get water into the hood from there? If there is some kind of protection against that what is it? DOes anyone have any ideas or suggestions on how I can set this up so that water doesnt leak into my air filter. Any sugestions would be great! Thanks!
