So I'm trying to get my '04 some wheels and I'd like to get some of the original BBS rims that came with them. My question is did the 2004 model's rims have the "STI" stamp on the rims? I know the 2005+ models did for sure, but there's a lack of information regarding the 2004s.

If you look closely at the top and bottom you can see the "STI." I believe this is off of a 2005, as that's when they went to the 5x114 setup.

the BBS equipped OEM STi wheels that came originally with the 2004 STi didnt have the STi stamp on them. You could say the 1st Gen USDM STi were the guinea pig with the weaker hubs, less popular PCD, less width track for the wheels.

dub81 is correct, the 04 STi BBS's never came with the STi stamped into the wheel. Were you wanting the STi stamp? Or just curious about how to identify the 5x100 wheels?

Originally, yes I was looking for the stamp, but now it makes sense that the only ones I could find with it had the 5x114 setup. Now I know why! Thanks guys.
