no they wont only the 02-03 wrx and jdm sti scoop will fit. there are also companys that make 04-05 sti style hoodscoops for your bugeyes. We (kakumei) make some in fiberglass and also in carbon fiber like this one

Do you have images of that from the side? Can you tell me who stocks and sells these? I've been through two ABS STI-style hood scoops on my 02 WRX because they keep melting (even with a stock turbo and two(!) heat shields). I'm thinking of switching to a carbon-fiber scoop because I know it won't melt, and also matching my fading paint color (PSM) is getting very tough.

i live in phoenix too, and i've had my sti scoop for over 2 years and its never melted even without a heatshield. what do you do to your poor car! keep in mind that those carbon fiber type scoop don't have holes. you will need to line up the scoop and drill your own holes. at least thats why my friend had to do with his scoop.

i personally like the JDM bugeye scoops better. if u put the 04-05 scoops on it, it looks kinda awkward

only thing that i dont like about the sti bugeye scoops is that even when it's a OEM product, it's unpainted...

I got a painted one for $180, but it melted. I'll post a pic, it is hilarious.
