I have to go through my cluster and find what bulbs are what again. ATM I'm just doing a rough pricing. I Know I'll need 74s for the hvac/keyring, and I think the cluster takes 12 t1.5's iirc. But again I'm not sure if I wanna replace my door handles myself or just pay someone to do it.

Exterior/maps/dome will be last.

Do any of you guys happen to remember the bulb size of the hvac and/or cluster?

I'm looking to buy http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...HP.html#photos for all of the lights since they're all 74

hmmm ok. I know our Hvac is the same for the most part. (bulb layout) So I think I'ma just be ordering a ****load of red leds. 2 for hvac, 1 for keyring, 11 for cluster, 1 in natrual white for cluster, and 2 in green in cluster.

I'm hoping to make the brights really bright, and turns really green. everything else should be evenly red. once I pay my reg, and possibly might have to get my smog again. I'll keep you posted on what I buy and how it turns out.

sounds good.

Ive been wanting to change my STi cluster to blue. But the STi clusters dont use bulbs, or even LEDs. They use SMDs and they are about the size of a ball from a ball point pen

I dont have good enough soldering skills to do something that small and precise. Ive found one shop in the area that will do it for me. But they want something like $160 for it! They are charging something like $3 per SMD, and I would need around 24-26 of them.

Sucks cuz I could buy some online for .25 cents each.... Ive been meaning to ask if I can supply my own SMDs if they would do the install for me and not warranty the life of the lights...

Most of the cost will be in labor. It takes a lot of time to solder in something like that. I know the handle lights are like that and are a pain in the *** to install. if you wanted blue I'd say get a wrx cluster and do that up. Much easier and cheaper.
