I haven't seen a dang Harley pulled over for noise. They need to be the ones to go first. Can someone please tell Harley that muffler is invented??

In Ohio the law reads "Loud and or unusual sound" WTF . That is so vauge it is unbelievable.

BTW Harley does not condone loud exhaust. I also know a few state troopers in Ohio with loud @ss pipes on their Harley's.

Here in Cali, there are no volume limitations on motorcycles if I remember correctly, to answer the Harley question. Sure beats me why not. Favoritism I guess. Unfortunately, from what I've heard the Blitz NUR-Spec is indeed too loud for street use in most states.

The general limit for most states is 95 Db from 100 feet away. Radio Shack sells decibel meters for like 40 bucks. I would get your silencer, install it and prove it to the cop and/or judge that your under the legal limit. Hope that helps.

not that you want to spend more money on a different exhaust, but if you do a great solution would be the Nur spec touring edition @ fastwrx.com. It is not loud at all and has a great low boxer note and looks clean....
