As the title says, I plan on painting my stock sideskirts soon to match the paint. I was going to use paintscratch.com but hesitated when prompted with the question of how many rattle cans to buy for the two sideskirts?

In other words

How many cans of clear coat?
Primer?
and the actual paint itself?

Any help would be great. Again i checked out some of DIY on nasioc and using the google search but couldn't find any that would suggest how many rattle cans used etc.

Isn't their paint matched paint pretty expensive? I guess you can use it to paint other things.

As for your question sand till your arm falls off. 2 Coats of primer. 5-7 Coats paint 3-4 coats of clear.

Thats what I would do.

1 Primer
3 Cans of paint match
2 Clears

Try and find a paint surplus store and see if they can make you a pint of your paint. Source a sprayer and you are good to go =)
