paint protection films

I'm thinking of covering my car with some paint protection film. But I don't kno which brand / type to use.

Does neone kno the difference between Scotchgard, Stonegard, and Clearshield paint protection films? I kno 3M makes Scotchguard for sure, does it also make Stonegard and Clearshield? Or do independant companies use 3M materials to make Stonegard and Clearshield?

If they are different, does neone kno which one has the better quality or price?

yes 3M makes the Scotchguard urethane paint protection film and Clearshield is made by Bekaert specialty films. Stonegard(along with other companies like rockblocer and Xpel) do not make films but designs the kits that can be used with all of the popular available films. 3Ms film is good but I would avoid the Clearshield film since it made with PVC(vinyl) and is not as stable over time as urethane. Other good urethane films are made by Llumar and Venture. let me know if you have any other questions
