ordering correct hood for '95 L (was: subaruparts.com)

I'm trying to understand their order thing..

They have 2 of the same thing.. but it's not listed the same..

Like this:

$228.59 Hood complete-front Fits: S.(L+TS)+W.(BRI+L)+2C.L

$228.59 Hood complete-front Fits: S.RS+W.OBK+2C.RS

What does "S.(L+TS)+W.(BRI+L)+2C.L" Mean?

So it fits the L, TS and whats those other models?

I need a hood to replace for my 95 L, but i'm looking for an RS hood, but these are kinda cheap... are these the lightweight ones?

Okay, I'll take a stab at this.

S.(L+TS) means Sedan L or Sedan TS (Never heard of this model)
W.(BRI+L) means Wagon Brighton or Wagon L
2C.L means Coupe L.
S.RS means Sedan RS
W.OBK mena Wagon Outback Sport (why in the world the K is there is beyone me).
2C.RS means Coupe RS.

As for a RS hood fitting on an '95 L, there will be slight fitment problems around the headlights.

a hood from '93-'97 looks like this around the headlight

a hood from '98-'01 looks like this around the headlight

The shape of the '93-'97 headlight is in pink and overlayed on a '98-'01 headlight

There is also some other slight fitment issues, as the hood will stick out a slight bit from the grille.

But, the good news is, that it should fit fine and the gaps are really only noticable when you get up close.
