Exclamation OK, now im ****ed....

so when i needed help, I-Club has always been there for me ( for the most part ) so now here is my new challenge....

a few weeks ago i went to my car at night, started, and turned on my headlights. it took a few seconds for them to start, but i didnt think anything of it. now. im driving home at night, and they turn off. completely. i have to drive all the way home from Pittsburg ( to San Carlos ) on brights, and nothing else. today, i change my bulbs. nothing. i check the fuses. nothing.

so, what do you guys think the problem is? to reiterate, my headlights dont switch on, the corner lights and the taillights do. oh, and there appears to be a small burn mark inside the left headlight casing, and when i pulled out the bulb, it was almost frosty white, but not blown. i changed it anyways....

What car, are these stock headlights or HIDs?

You did check the fuses for the headlights right? IIRC there is a fuse for either headlight.

GC, stock headlights. and to be safe, i did check the fuses, and change that bulbs, nothing. would it be the switch itself? it is an 11 year old car....

Yeah it sounds like the fuses. But if you checked that, my second guess would be the switch itself or a short somewhere in the wiring.
