New trunk light...
Okay I want to use a neon light to replace my trunk light, but need some info on how to wire it best considering it needs 12 volts.
I dunno what kind of neon lights you have but what I did was just un plug the stock light and splice the wires from the neon light to the stock wiring and that would perfect so the neon turns on when the trunk opens and if you want more light just plug the stock light back in. does that give you any ideas or answer your question?

did your neon plug into a cigrett lighter? That the type I have and when I tried this I blew the fuse. Do you have a pic of your setup?
no mine wasn't the kind that pluged in to the cigarette lighter. are you saying your just pluged it in to the cigarette lighter and it blew a fuse? you can just cut the the cigarette plug off and splice in to the factory wiring. when i first spliced mine it blew a fuse so i replaced the fuse and it hasn't blown again. no i don't have a pic its nothing special like i said i just unpluged the stock light and spliced the factoy wires and cable tied the neon light up there you can't see the light unless you look up there
