I bolted mine up to make sure if it rips off it's ripping off my whole front end lol, and I know for a fact that's not happening. Also do the foam, that always helps.

is there any physical differences between the wrx and sti? ive been looking at 2006's and 2007's, im leaning towards the 2007 because of the aux port hahah. But not sti, because im only 17 and insurance would be crazy for sti. What are the physical differences between the sti and wrx, i cant really see anything; besides it looks like the sti has side skirts, does it? and where can i buy them? also the sti looks lower, is this true? thanks guys

The STI has DIFFERENT sideskirts. Unless you get the WRX TR which has none.
The STI has Brembo brakes.
The STI has a rear wing and roof spoiler.
The STI has a bigger intercooler and turbo.
The STI has an incooler sprayer system.
The STI has cool STI stickers everywhere.
The STI has a blue/black interior with STI on the seats
The STI has a different steering wheel and gauge cluster.
Outside of all those things I just mentioned... There isn't all that much difference. If you are 17, I would definitely recommend getting the WRX over any STI. Insurance alone will save you tons. Notice how I didn't mention any physical differences from the outside other than the sideskirts and spoilers. That's because there is none. If you were to take off the wing/spoilers and all the badges from each car.... The only way to tell the difference would be to look at the Brembo brakes or look inside the car or under the hood.

Damn I ramble.

**Got Quoted on the Front Lip. Doing power mods now so tax returns will paint match that lip for me. =]

Went over to my friend's body man at Bodycraft and was quoted $172.50 + 82.80 for a grand total of 255.30 paint matched.
I kinda laughed because I thought it was ridiculous and then I remembered how much labor is nowadays. That was at 75.00 an hour for labor as well.
Anyways. I'm getting it done for next to nothing from a friend of a friend. Does good work. Didn't even occur to me at first to go that route. Should be less than like 80 bucks total and it will look good. Just waiting to install my other mods right now and get tuned before I do the lip. Rather figure out the performance aspect first.
