Thoughts on this gauge pod?

What's your guys' thoughts on this pod?
It's super cheap compared to the other ones I have seen and don't know if it is up to par on the quality side of things but if I can get a good part for a cheap price, I am all for it.

LMK. Thanks.

I like this one, looks agressive, lil bit like 04-05 STI hood scoops

$60 shipped from Japan

See I like the non aggressive one. I would want one that set into the dash instead of even coming out but the only one I found that does that is like 250 dollars. I can't afford all that nonsense.

I love that gauge pod. I saw it in person and decided right then and there it was what I would get when I go with 3 gauges. I looks super nice. I never did like the hooded type ones so this is perfect.

That one doesn't fit 06 wrx? Plus isn't that the one that won't fit 52mm gauges? If it did, I would get that since it's cheap. I was looking at the modified one for 52mm gauges though. Here's the link for the cheapest one I found.

Are you talking about the subaru oem gauge pod or the one I posted in the first post?

Why dont you just relocate the gauges into the center console? Take out a din and set up an alum plate and keep that in place to hold the gauges in. Really easy to make, and a lot cheaper if you want a really subtle look.

I had that pod in my car Teagleye. I liked it because it's angled towards the driver slightly so you can see the gauges better. I didn't like how it mounts however. To make it stay in place without really moving around I had to screw it into the clock bezel, which ended up cracking it badly. I still have mine and will give it to you for free, the only thing is it's flocked. but a cheap way to try it out...

I think it`s nice and low key. Not as bulky and attention getting as these other pods I`ve seen.

I liked it a lot for that reason. Not super tall like the Defi pod. And it doesn't look like a reversed hood scoop.

I was thinking about that too. Eventually I want to get a double din setup but I wouldn't mind using a din to do this. As long as the 52mm gauges fit in fine in the single bottom din below the stereo.

Yeah I like how it is angled slightly. I read something about it having problems cracking though as you say. I'll surely take it though to try it out if you are generous enough. I really like your dash setup btw. Got a write-up on that or did you use the DIY from Nasioc?

I'm pretty sure they do. Subtle solutions make a plate. IIRC, I think that's they're name. Lemme get you a link.

Link: http://www.subtle-solutions.com/inde...th=21_23_35_56 real easy to make. Just measure the size of your AC ***** and it'll give you a general idea
