new grill, mesh and license plate trim

your grills

Your car looks great! Where did you get the grills? What did they cost? Was installation easy? Did you paint the grills or do the come in silver?

The mesh that came behind the sti replica grill I got was black and just looked like a big black hole on my black car, so I picked up some silver painted mesh at a local Checker Autoworks, they are made by APC I think, but they are really stiff and easy to install-$30 a sheet, but youll need 2 sheets. And the license plate trim is aluminum and I painted it the same color as my car and put a stip of clear bra over it so it matches the shininess of my car. That kind of sets of the front end- I think. Thanks for replies.

did the mesh come with the replica grill? if so, where did you buy it, and how much? I've seen zerosports replicas that look similar, but I was worried about the fit seein as they are inexpensive. yours looks like it fits great! nice car.

the grill I got was from gt-spec- but actually quantum racing has it cheaper. It fits good. The mesh comes with and is nice- I just needed a different color so I had to buy one at a parts store. It was $30 but a lot nicer than a home depot one-it is painted and real stiff.

The site is quantum-racing.com.Mine is the ABS plastic one for $79 and once painted looks and fits great- but needs to be glued down

hey dude that grill and lip are awesome, especially with the mesh minus the star badge. is that something that you get and just take off your old bumper and grill and pop in a new one?
i also found at home depot that mesh stuff it is silver, like galvalnized, you get 6 sheets for like 5 bucks, 24" by 6" they are in the plumbing ilse where the gutter are for the roof trim, they keep out like leaves and stuff.
