Most important gauge besides Boost?

Hey everyone,

I just got a 04 WRX and it did not come with a boost gauge. I am planning on getting two gauges for my car.....boost being one of them. I know that the gauges are not that important now, but I plan on modifying the car in the future. What does everyone think the next most important gauge to own would be. I was thinking EGT or oil temp. I don't want to mess with A/F ratio or fuel pressure gauges. I am planning on going with Defi-D gauges. Thanks for any advice.

After talking to some vendors as well as fellow enthusiasts w/ modified cars, they recommend the EGT gauge. Hope this helps.

EGT

EGT is exhaust gas temperature, we watch it because the temperature will tell you if your car is running lean or rich, if the temperature is too hot, then you are running too lean, cold running rich.
