Lost my wedding ring in center console

I have a 07 wagon. Last night I took my wedding ring off to go to the gym and "hid" it in the panel that covers the AUX INPUT and cig lighter. Apparently there was room enough for the ring to slip down into the center console in the space in front of the shifter. I can't see the ring.

My question is, how hard is it to take the dash apart around the shifter? I am hesitant to do it myself because I am a whiz at breaking ****. I'm considering having a shop do this and my thinking is, while they're in there, would it be a good time to install a short shifter kit? If so, can anyone recommend a good, reputable shop that could do this?

Thanks.

The dash should just pull out.

+1; don't even need a screwdriver to pull out the shifter trim. The whole section including the ashtray etc. is just a friction/gravity fit.
